Den continued their reign at the top of the premier division last week with a 9-1 victory 0ver Apollo C. Robert Hansell and John Cooper both weighed in with three wins while Nick Hansell took two, losing to Darren Palmer. Downley seem to be out of reach of first place but helped their cause with a 8-2 win over Chalfont B.Danny Bxter was the star man and was ably helped by Stuart Tweedy and veteran Chris Haines. Bottom of the table Speen scraped a draw against two man Apollo A. Keith Taylor salvaged the 3 points for the basement side with two wins.
In Division One Apollo E suffered another defeat despite a brilliant display from Jeff Amor earning them a point. A solid display by Wesley B gave them a good win, but on the night no one could touch man of the match Amor. Great Kingshill A inflicted Hazlemere B’s 2nd defeat of the season. Mark Dozzell contributed a maximum while Bassam Mocharaffie took two and Loz Harvey one to help with the 6-4 result.
In division Two Ian Wilcox Brian Brown and Phil Male both took two wins each to take Stargoat A’s match against Hazlemere C with Pam Spooner saving the Hazles blushes with a maximum. St Andrews showed why they are in second place with a 8-2 win over Hazlemere D. John Dawson was the only ray of light for Hazlemere with two wins.
